2007=======>2008

Well its that time of year again when its time for a new year. It always seems like everyone gets so excited about New Years and all the festivities of NYE. However, I have yet in my lifetime to have one of these extremely exciting NYE events. Oh sure I've spent my fair share sitting in front of the TV watching the ball drop and hour early in NY, hanging out with my family playing board games, watching fireworks over the bridge in Pensacola, and a couple of awkward times at Baytowne Warf. But even after all that I haven't yet decided that I buy into all this "New Year" nonsense!

People tend to make resolutions and vow to do things better simply because the date has changed on the calendar. This simple fact has always baffled me. Nevertheless I see no reason to not join in the 'celebration.'

I will be joining a couple other One Dub girls and friends down in the Big Easy.

Let us all know what you do to ring in the New Year!

Stop Bringing Food to Work!!

All of a sudden there is a plethera of food at my office. Its like Christmas comes and everyone feels like they have to bring in goodies. We have chocolate covered pecans, begals from Panera Bread, chocolate covered toffee candy, peanut brittle, and trail mix...and that's just for BREAKFAST. Lunch is a whole other story!!!

No wonder Santa looks like this. He works in a cubicle 364 days of the year!

Welcome to MY world

Put the Books AWAY!!

Congrats to all those onedubers who are still in school...YOU JUST FINISHED ANOTHER SEMESTER! Which means you are one semester closer to graduation! And that's a good feeling. I know school can be tough at times and I have to admit that I honestly don't miss school work at all...especially in the business school...its like doing work without getting paid for it. Ouch! That burns!
Anyway, my thoughts go out to the schholarly ones out there that have just finished hell....I mean finals week. But while you are off for a month with nothing to do remember those of us that will still be at work! Its a Catch 22 I tell you!

A weekend worthy of a post

Well girls it truly was a wonderful happily ever after weekend. (kinda makes you want to puke!) Not only did we get to have significant catch up time with the crew but we also got to watch Laura cry all weekend....I mean watch David and Liz get married.
I loved reading thru the program and seeing all of our 'hometowns.' A couple in Alabama and Mississippi and the rest spread out across the U.S. Oh and Chesed, she was listed as hometown: Singapore...She got a whole country which I think is totally unfair! I had to share my state with Barger!
We even got to meet some new folks from Chi-town. And that's always fun!
Girls I love you all so dearly and I am so thankful for the moments when we get to spend time together! One Dub truly is a force of nature! We turn the tides when we are together!!!!
