One Dub Discussion

Hey girls. I know that we have thrown a lot of information around via email about possible One Dub reunion dates and locations.

So far we have discussed

Cape Cod

Austin

Jackson Hole

Philadelphia

Denver

All great places. All big enough to hold a One Dub Epic Adventure!
The other big problem is determining a date for 2009. August seems to work well but it would be great to get the trip in before football season!! Lets play around with this and see what kind of genius plan we can come up with.

BE&K Plus KBR...Too Many Letters

BE&K announced on Wednesday that it would be acquired by KBR out of Houston. So we are currently going through the transition phase of the process until the government approves the purchase. The deal should close in July. I am not exactly sure what that means for me or my future here at BE&K. I'll make sure to keep you all updated! Exciting times as always!!

Give it a Tri!

So I ran in a triathlon a couple weekends ago...well I guess I should say I swam, cylced and ran in a triathlon. My friend Rachael (that's her in the pic) and I did it together. We trained our best and then got to put it all out there in Tuscaloosa.

If you guys are thinking about picking up the triathlon or any other sport like running or whatnot...I totally encourage it. There is not much of a better feeling than crossing that finish line!

Dosset-Howell Union

So Chels and Landon got engaged in the rainy northwest this weekend! I am so excited for yet another One Dub girl! Now if we could only get them to move back to the South!

My 5 year old nephew, Grayson, doing the robot during Christmas break. Not bad for a 5 year old.

School is for fools!

I had my last "first day of school" yesterday....well, at least for a very long time. It's a little weird to think about because I feel like I've been in school forever! This semester will prove the toughest ever, but at least I'm on the home stretch. One more semester. I can't believe it.

She's so lucky...She's a star...

Maybe the song was foreboding. Maybe Britney is just crazy. The latest from the Spears camp is that Brit was taken by police to the hospital for treatment after holding her kids hostage from K-Fed's Bodyguards! CRAZY! No illegal drugs showed up on her tox screen, but Dr. Phil went to see her anyway! (Seriously, if I ever go crazy please DON'T send Dr. Phil to help me!)

This on top of finding out little Jamie Lynn Spears is preggers (who by the way is named after her dad Jamie and her mom Lynn...you know she came from the trailer park!).

Oh and her mother's parenting book which was to be published by a Christian publishing house has been put on hold...indefinitely!

I guess it makes you put your life in perspective. God is good. And thankfully I have NEVER flashed anyone my 'britney' while getting out of a car!
